This spring, look forward to NASA@ My Library programs that are out of this world! Kids can listen to space-themed stories, learn about constellations and create art in many program offerings for all ages! Check out Museum Corner: Alien Storycraft, Star Seekers, Galaxy Slime and Galaxy Cookies! Teens will paint an Acrylic Space Scene on canvas and view the film Hidden Figures while eating a space-themed treat. Kids and teens will work together to Build a Moon Rover and design a vehicle that can drive on the Moon! Our Teen Tech Club will learn about the science behind a Near Space Launch and help develop the specs for a payload to be used during the Library’s own tethered balloon launch this summer. Lastly, don’t forget to stop by the Innovation Celebration on April 7th and explore the Museum Corner throughout the spring to enjoy various hands-on STEM activities within the Space Out: Earth and Beyond exhibit. For more information see pages 18 and 21.
