What kind of questions can I ask?

Just about anything. The purpose of the “Ask Us” feature is to guide the user to appropriate information sources, services or personnel that can answer your question(s). If you wish to request that the library purchase a specific item, please use the Purchase Request Form. Legal, medical, and financial advice are not provided.

When you ask your question…

…be as complete and specific as possible. The more you tell us, the better our answer will be! If possible, describe how you will use this information. Is it for a school assignment? Is it for personal use?

When will I receive an answer?

We will respond to your question in a timely manner, Monday through Friday. If you have any trouble using the form, you can send adult reference questions directly to eref@mcplibrary.org and children’s or teen reference questions to ysref@mcplibrary.org.
